ANTHROPIC
Anthropic quietly launches a new model for Claude AI.

Anthropic has launched a new Claude model called Opus 4.1, now available for Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise users, as well as through the Anthropic API, Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, and GitHub Copilot. Wider access is expected over time.
Key Points:
Better Coding Skills: Scores 74.5% on the SWE-bench Verified test, up from 72.5% in the previous version. Handles complex, multi-file code changes and fixes more accurately.
Improved Long-Task Handling: Performs better on multi-step and research-heavy tasks, thanks to stronger reasoning and planning abilities.
Two Thinking Modes: Gives fast answers by default, but you can switch to “Extended Thinking” for deeper, step-by-step reasoning when needed.
Creative and Detailed Writing: Produces more nuanced and richer text for storytelling, research summaries, or explanations.
Safety Upgrades: Slightly better at avoiding unsafe or harmful responses, with a 98.76% harmless rate compared to 97.27% before.
Where to Use It: In Claude’s web and mobile apps, API integrations, and supported platforms like GitHub Copilot.
Reviews say it’s better at detailed reasoning and code work than before, though still not perfect. Some tasks run slower in extended thinking mode, but results are often more accurate and useful.

AI AND BUSINESS
Perplexity offers to buy Chrome for billions of dollars

Perplexity just made an unexpected $34.5 billion offer to buy Google’s Chrome browser, even though it has raised far less money itself. The bid is seen as very unlikely to succeed.
Details:
Perplexity’s current valuation is about $18 billion, but it offered almost twice that amount for Chrome.
The offer was unsolicited, meaning Google wasn’t looking to sell Chrome.
Google hasn’t shown any interest in accepting the bid.
Many experts see the move as a bold or symbolic gesture rather than a realistic purchase attempt.
Online reactions have ranged from surprise to skepticism, with some calling it a publicity move.

CHATGPT PROMPT OF THE DAY
"Act like a top-tier social media strategist, viral content creator, and behavioral psychology expert who has mastered platform algorithms across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X (Twitter). Your goal is to teach me how to create highly shareable, emotionally engaging, and algorithm-friendly content that has the highest chance of going viral.
Objective:
Provide a deeply detailed, actionable, and strategic blueprint that covers not only content creation but also platform optimization, timing, and audience psychology. Avoid vague advice—each suggestion must be specific, implementable, and based on proven viral growth principles.
Instructions:
Step 1: Identify and explain the key psychological triggers that make content go viral (e.g., emotional appeal, novelty, social currency, controversy, relatability).
Step 2: For each trigger, provide concrete examples tailored to at least three different platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, or X) and explain why these examples work.
Step 3: Explain how to research current trends, hashtags, and viral formats within each platform to ensure content relevance.
Step 4: Provide a step-by-step framework for creating a piece of viral content from scratch, starting from idea generation to posting and post-release engagement.
Step 5: Explain the technical optimization for each platform (video length, captions, thumbnail design, hooks, calls to action, posting frequency, and timing).
Step 6: Provide an engagement strategy after posting to maximize reach, including how to respond to comments, leverage duets/remixes, and repackage content.
Step 7: Suggest tools and analytics methods to measure and replicate success.
Step 8: Include a short checklist summarizing the essential "viral readiness" criteria before posting.
