AI NEWS

CANVA + ANTHROPIC

You can now create Canva designs directly inside Claude

Canva now works inside Claude from Anthropic, so you can make real, on-brand designs just by typing what you want. No jumping between apps. No starting from blank pages.

Key Points:

  • Claude uses your Canva Brand Kit, so your colours, fonts, and styles show up automatically in every design.

  • You can ask for slides, social posts, flyers, or posters, and Claude creates a real Canva file you can open and edit.

  • You link your Canva account once, then Claude can build designs directly in your Canva workspace.

  • The result is not an image. It is a live Canva project you can change, download, or share.

  • This works best if you have Canva Pro (or Business) and Claude’s paid plan, since free accounts have limits.

AI AND INNOVATION

Claude launches Opus 4.6, their best model yet

Anthropic just launched Claude Opus 4.6, its best Claude model to date. It is built to think better, write stronger code, and handle large tasks with a lot of information.

Details:

  • It was released on February 5, 2026, and Anthropic says it is its most powerful Opus model yet.

  • It is much better at coding, fixing bugs, and working on large projects with many files.

  • It can read and remember very long documents without getting confused.

  • In testing, it found hundreds of serious software bugs with very little guidance.

  • It plans steps more clearly for hard problems, so complex work feels smoother.

  • It also supports agent-style workflows, in which smaller tasks work together to complete larger jobs.
