Anthropic launches Co-work tool for agentic tasks

Anthropic just launched a new tool called Cowork that lets Claude act like a real “co-worker” and handle agentic tasks for you. Instead of only chatting, Claude can now take actions across your files and connected apps.

Details: 

• Cowork lets Claude complete multi-step tasks automatically, without you having to guide every step.

• It can access and work inside folders on your computer, meaning it can read, edit, and create files for real workflows.

• It connects with tools like Notion and Asana, so Claude can organize work inside the apps teams already use.

• It’s currently rolling out in the Claude macOS app and is being released as a research preview.

How to create skills in Claude AI

You don’t need to create GPTs or build complicated projects just to get an AI that actually helps you. You can create simple Skills in Claude that work like reusable shortcuts for your specific tasks. Here is how:

1. Go to Claude and sign in.

2. Open Settings, then capabilities → Skills.

3. Click Create Skill.

4. Name the Skill (one clear task).

5. Write the Skill instructions: what it does, when to use it, exact output format, rules (tone, length), 1–2 examples (input → output), and files if available.

6. Click Save and turn the Skill On.

7. Test it by telling Claude: “Use my Skill: [Skill Name]” and your topic, or what it should do.
