ANTHROPIC
Anthropic launches Claude in Excel

Anthropic has launched Claude for Excel, an AI helper that works inside Microsoft Excel. It lets you talk to your spreadsheet and ask Claude to explain data, fix formulas, and build tables for you. It’s now live for Claude Pro users, with Team and Enterprise already supported.
Key Points:
Claude can read your sheets, understand formulas, and complete tasks like cleaning data, fixing errors, building models, and creating charts, all from simple text prompts.
You can point to cells or tabs, ask questions, and watch it update your file without breaking your formulas.
Every edit Claude makes is shown at the cell level, so you know exactly what changed and where.
It helps with budgets, reports, forecasts, pivot tables, and large datasets. This saves time for people who work with numbers every day.
The Excel add-in is available to Claude Pro users right now.
You install it from Excel’s add-ins store and sign in with your Claude account.

AI AND ETHICS
ChatGPT is pulling answers from Elon Musk’s Grokipedia

ChatGPT is now pulling some answers from Elon Musk’s Grokipedia, a new AI-made online encyclopedia. This means some replies may come from pages written by AI rather than real people, which can affect the accuracy of the answers.
Details:
ChatGPT has been seen citing Grokipedia in its answers to less common questions.
Grokipedia is run by Elon Musk’s AI company, and many of its articles are written by AI.
Some topics on Grokipedia are copied or rewritten from Wikipedia, while others are fully AI-generated.
People are worried that AI-generated pages may contain mistakes or bias.
It doesn’t happen all the time, but it shows why checking facts still matters.
