Google upgrades Nano banana and makes it free for everyone

Google has upgraded Nano Banana and made the new version free for users across its AI tools. The updated model is now rolling out inside the Gemini app, Google Search AI features, and other Google services.
Key Points:
The new Nano Banana version creates sharper, more detailed images. It handles lighting, textures, and text inside images more accurately than before.
Images are created more quickly, even when prompts are longer or more complex. This makes it easier to test ideas without long wait times.
The model follows detailed instructions more closely. It can manage multi-step image edits and more specific creative directions.
Nano Banana now works as the default image engine across parts of Google’s AI system, including Gemini-powered tools and visual search features.

AI AND INNOVATION
Microsoft’s Copilot Tasks AI uses its own computer to get things done

Microsoft just introduced Copilot Tasks, an AI feature that can use its own cloud computer to complete work for you. Instead of only answering questions, it can actually carry out tasks in the background while you do other things.
Details:
Copilot Tasks runs on its own online computer with its own browser, so it does not depend on your device staying open the whole time.
You tell it what you need in simple words, and it breaks the job into steps and completes them on its own.
It can work across apps like email, calendar, and files to move information and finish tasks.
It still asks for your approval before doing important actions like sending messages or making changes.
