  ChatGPT now schedules reminders and recurring tasks

OpenAI has introduced a new beta feature in ChatGPT called "Tasks," enabling users to schedule reminders and future actions, similar to traditional digital assistants like Siri or Alexa

 How to Use the Tasks Feature:

1. Access Tasks: In the model picker, select "4o with scheduled tasks."

2. Create a Task: Describe the desired action and specify when it occurs.

3. Approve: Review and approve any task suggestions made by ChatGPT

4. Manage Tasks: Use the Tasks section in your profile menu to view, modify, or cancel tasks.

 Microsoft’s newest Copilot plan for business is pay-as-you-go

Microsoft is launching a pay-as-you-go plan for corporate customers that bundles several, but not all, of the company’s existing AI-powered productivity features for Microsoft 365. The new plan, Copilot Chat — not to be confused with Microsoft’s Copilot Business Chat or GitHub Copilot Chat — is underpinned by OpenAI’s GPT-4o AI model and lets users ask business-related questions, build workflow automation, generate images, and more. Read more

  OpenAI tests phone number-only ChatGPT signups

OpenAI has begun testing a feature that lets new ChatGPT users sign up with only a phone number — no email required. The addition was spotted by software engineer, Tibor Blaho. The feature is currently in beta in the U.S. and India. There are, however, some restrictions. Read more
