You don’t even need a complicated setup to build AI agents. Replit’s new AI agent now lets you build them from a text prompt. Here is how to do it:

1. Go to Replit and sign in with your account.

2. Click on “Agents & Automation.” Choose “Time-based.” The setup takes only a few minutes.

3. Type Your Task (Examples you can type):

   • “Create an agent that researches trending news on AI and sends me a summary by email daily at 5 pm.”

   • “Send me a daily report of Slack mentions at 9 am.”

   • “Remind me on Telegram to check inventory every Friday at 4 pm.”

4. Provide your Gmail and OpenAI API key when asked. Replit will connect them so the agent can send updates automatically.
