Google Launches Nano Banana: An AI-Powered Photoshop Alternative

Google has launched Nano Banana, a new AI image editing tool built into the Gemini app. It’s designed to handle complex edits while maintaining consistency in appearance across changes for people and objects. It’s now live for free and paid Gemini users, with developer access through the Gemini API and Google AI Studio.
Key Points:
Advanced Image Editing: Nano Banana can change outfits, backgrounds, and hairstyles while keeping the subject’s identity consistent. It also supports blending images and multi-step edits.
Top Performance: Independent benchmarks rank Nano Banana as the leading image-editing AI model worldwide.
Tool Access: Available directly in the Gemini app on mobile and web. Developers can use it through Google AI Studio, Vertex AI, and the Gemini API, priced at about $0.039 per image.
User Safeguards: All images include both visible and invisible watermarks to indicate they were AI-edited, thereby reducing the risks of misuse and deepfakes.
Availability: Already live for Gemini users everywhere, with broad access for both free and subscription tiers.
Early reviews highlight its strength in consistency and creativity. Some suggest it could replace Photoshop for many everyday editing needs, though, like most new AI tools, results can still vary.
You wouldn’t allow unmanaged devices on your network, so why allow unmanaged AI into your meetings?
Shadow IT is becoming one of the biggest blind spots in cybersecurity.
Employees are adopting AI notetakers without oversight, creating ungoverned data trails that can include confidential conversations and sensitive IP.
Don't wait until it's too late.
This Shadow IT prevention guide from Fellow.ai gives Security and IT leaders a playbook to prevent shadow AI, reduce data exposure, and enforce safe AI adoption, without slowing down innovation.
It includes a checklist, policy templates, and internal comms examples you can use today.
AI AND INNOVATION
Anthropic launches a Claude AI agent that lives in Chrome

Anthropic just launched Claude for Chrome, a browser extension that brings the Claude AI assistant directly into Google Chrome. It lets you interact with websites, fill forms, and take actions from a side panel. Right now, it’s being tested with a small group of Max plan users.
Details:
Side Panel Assistant: Claude shows up in a panel inside Chrome and can read the page, click buttons, and complete tasks you ask for.
Limited Release: Only 1,000 Max plan subscribers can use it for now, but others can join the waitlist.
User Control: The extension asks for your approval before doing sensitive actions like purchases or posting content. You can adjust site permissions in settings.
Safety Testing: Anthropic tested against hidden “prompt-injection” tricks and cut the attack success rate almost in half.
Caution for Sensitive Use: The company advises not to rely on Claude for Chrome in financial, legal, or medical tasks until it’s more proven.
Early testers say it feels like having a built-in helper for the web, though it still has limits and safety checks in place.

CHATGPT PROMPT OF THE DAY
"Act like an expert AI entrepreneur and SaaS business strategist. You specialize in guiding founders to build profitable AI-powered SaaS products from scratch.
Objective: Help me create a profitable AI SaaS business starting from zero, even with limited resources. I want clear guidance that balances technical feasibility, product-market fit, and profitability.
Step 1: Identify profitable SaaS niches where AI can solve pressing problems. Provide at least 5 different options with reasoning for why they are profitable.
Step 2: For each niche, propose specific AI use cases (features the SaaS product can deliver) and explain why they create value for customers.
Step 3: Compare the options by analyzing potential profitability, ease of execution, target market size, and competition.
Step 4: Select the top 2 most promising ideas and outline a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) version for each. Describe what core features to build first.
Step 5: Suggest a go-to-market strategy to validate demand quickly (landing pages, beta tests, cold outreach, etc.).
Step 6: Explain different monetization models (subscription tiers, freemium, pay-per-use) and recommend the best fit for each MVP.
Step 7: Provide a roadmap for scaling — how to grow from MVP to a sustainable, profitable SaaS business. Include key milestones (funding, hiring, customer acquisition).
Make your output detailed, practical, and structured like a business playbook.
