Google's VEO 3 now works in Google Photos

Google has added its Veo 3 video generation model into Google Photos, letting you turn still pictures into short, lifelike video clips. The feature is available in the new Create tab and is rolling out first in the United States, with wider access expected soon.
Key Points:
Photo to Video: Users can pick a photo and choose “Subtle movement” or “I’m feeling lucky” to create 4–6 second video clips with realistic motion, lighting, and clarity.
Improved Quality: Veo 3 produces sharper resolution and smoother animations compared to the earlier Veo 2 model.
Create Tab Tools: Alongside Veo 3, the tab also includes Remix (comic, anime, 3D effects), Collage, Highlight videos with music, Cinematic photos, and GIF-style animations.
Availability and Limits: Free users have daily limits on generations. Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers get higher limits and priority access.
Rollout: The feature is live in the United States and will expand to more countries in the coming months.
Early feedback highlights Veo 3’s ability to make simple photos feel alive, though the clips are short and the free tier limits frequent use.

AI AND INNOVATION
Google’s AI Mode adds 5 new languages

Google just expanded its AI Mode by adding five new languages: Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, and Brazilian Portuguese. This makes it easier for people around the world to use AI-powered search in their own language.
Details:
You can now type complex questions in these five languages and get detailed AI answers, not just translations.
AI Mode is built to understand cultural context and local needs, so the results feel natural and useful.
Until now, AI Mode only worked in English. With this update, more regions can access it in their native language.
The upgrade runs on Google’s newest AI model, which makes the answers sharper and more accurate.
The rollout started in the United States and other English-speaking areas, but these new languages are now part of the global launch.

Change the background standing to the edge of a very tall skyscraper in the middle of a South Korean metropolis. He wears a plain black hoodie, blue jeans, a cream baseball cap, and white Nike sneakers. His arms are wide open, as if he's reaching out for a sense of freedom. The wide-angle camera captures a panoramic view of Seoul from above the bustling streetlights and the sea of glowing buildings are visible. The camera's perspective is from above, and the 360⁰ wide-angle lens effect creates a dramatic perspective, highlighting the elegant and majestic urban atmosphere at night. CHATGPT PROMPT OF THE DAY
"Act like a professional design automation consultant who specializes in leveraging ChatGPT to streamline creative workflows.
Objective: I want you to help me automate design-related tasks using ChatGPT. The goal is to create repeatable, structured, and efficient processes that reduce manual effort in design ideation, prototyping, and documentation.
Instructions:
1. Identify different design automation opportunities where ChatGPT can be applied (e.g., generating design briefs, creating wireframe descriptions, producing UI text, suggesting style guides, writing component documentation).
2. Provide step-by-step workflows showing how ChatGPT can handle each task, including clear input examples and structured outputs.
3. Suggest templates or reusable prompts that I can copy-paste for different design tasks (e.g., "Generate 5 landing page layout variations for SaaS websites with minimalist branding").
4. Explain how ChatGPT can integrate with external tools (e.g., Figma, Canva, Notion) to further automate design tasks.
5. Recommend best practices for automating design with ChatGPT, including how to refine outputs, enforce brand consistency, and ensure scalability.
6. Finally, provide a summarized “automation playbook” with ready-to-use prompts that I can reuse for different design contexts.
