GPT-6 Astra is now available for everyone
OpenAI has launched GPT-6 Astra, its newest AI model built for coding, research, computer use, science, and complex work. It is already available to Pro, Enterprise, and Business Premium users in Work and Codex, while Plus and Business users are getting access as the rollout continues.

GPT-6 Astra can handle harder tasks, use computers, browse the web, write code, research topics, and complete long projects.
Pro, Enterprise, and Business Premium users can use Astra in ChatGPT Work and Codex, while Plus users are getting access as it rolls out.
Developers can already use GPT-6 Astra through the OpenAI API, with support also planned through Microsoft Azure and AWS Bedrock.
ChatGPT Plus users will get Astra inside Work and Codex, but access may appear at different times for different accounts.
OpenAI added extra safety checks and monitoring because Astra is much more powerful at computer use and cybersecurity tasks.

Instagram’s AI detection is a mess again
Instagram’s AI detection is a mess again. Some real photos are being marked as AI, while some AI-made images are still showing up without a label. This is making it harder for people to know what is real and what was made with AI.
Details:
Some normal photos are getting an “AI Content” label even when they were only lightly edited.
Simple edits like removing a background or fixing part of a photo can sometimes trigger the AI label.
Instagram uses hidden image data and AI detection signals to decide if a photo was made or edited with AI.
Some fully AI-made images can still appear without any warning or label.
Instagram is also getting stricter with AI-generated profiles, but its image detection system still does not work perfectly.
