META
Meta has an AI product problem

Meta is investing heavily in artificial intelligence, but its results are falling short. Despite billions spent on infrastructure and research, its AI tools still lack a clear purpose and consistent user adoption.
Key Points:
Weak Product Direction: Meta has released AI features across Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook, but none stand out as a flagship product. Users often don’t understand what the AI is meant to do or how it improves their experience.
Heavy Spending, Light Returns: The company plans to spend over $600 billion on AI infrastructure over the next few years. Investors are questioning whether these costs will ever lead to meaningful revenue or innovation.
Repeating the Metaverse Mistake: Analysts compare Meta’s AI strategy to its metaverse push, huge investment, limited results, and unclear value to everyday users.
Internal and Brand Challenges: Shifting teams, leadership changes, and lingering public distrust are slowing progress. Even when Meta releases new AI tools, they struggle to gain traction outside of tech circles.
Competitive Pressure: While OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic define clear AI ecosystems, Meta’s products feel experimental. The company leads in research but lags in creating something people actually want to use.
Market Reaction: Meta’s stock recently dropped more than 10 percent after earnings reports showed rising AI costs without a visible payoff. Analysts cut price targets, warning that the company’s AI vision remains “ambitious but unfocused.”
Early reviews suggest Meta’s AI technology is powerful, but its user experience is inconsistent and unclear. Until Meta turns research into a product people need daily, its AI investment may look more like another costly experiment than a breakthrough.

AI PARTNERSHIP
OpenAI and Amazon sign $38B cloud computing deal
OpenAI just signed a $38 billion deal with Amazon Web Services to power its next generation of AI models and tools. The agreement gives OpenAI long-term access to Amazon’s massive cloud and GPU infrastructure, strengthening its position as one of the world’s largest AI developers.
Details:
OpenAI will move a large portion of its computing needs to AWS, using Amazon’s data centers to train and run future versions of ChatGPT and related products.
The deal spans seven years and includes access to hundreds of thousands of Nvidia GPUs and millions of CPUs inside Amazon’s global network.
It follows OpenAI’s restructuring that loosened its exclusive partnership with Microsoft, allowing it to work with multiple cloud providers.
For Amazon, the agreement marks a major win in the cloud-AI race, positioning AWS directly against Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
Analysts say this scale of investment highlights how AI companies are competing for compute capacity as much as for talent or data.
AI TUTORIAL
How to create video ads longer than 1 minute with AI
You don’t even need to hire a video editor or scriptwriter. You can use HeyGen Agent to automatically create a full 3-minute ad. Here’s how:

Go to HeyGen and sign in with your account.
Select “Agent” mode from the dashboard. This feature lets you create full videos from a single prompt and your uploaded assets or avatar.
Click “Create New Agent” and choose your avatar. You can upload your own or pick one from HeyGen’s avatar library.
Prepare your files. Add your logo, product images, background music, or video clips you want the ad to include.
Type your task in one prompt. Examples you can type:
“Create a 3-minute ad using my avatar to explain our new AI mentoring program for entrepreneurs.”
The agent will write the script, record the avatar’s voice, and automatically build the full ad.
When the video appears, preview it. If you want, you can adjust scenes, edit lines, or change voice style before saving.
Click “Export” to download your 3-minute ad in your preferred format (16:9, 9:16, or 1:1) and share it across your social or ad platforms.
