NEWS OF THE WEEK

Microsoft’s new Copilot Vision can ‘see’ your apps on Windows

Microsoft has unveiled Copilot Vision, a major step in bringing AI directly into your workflow. Now available across Windows 10 and 11 at no cost, it seamlessly integrates with the Copilot app to let users explicitly select one or two apps or windows to “share.” The AI then “sees” and interprets your screen in real time.

 What it does:

  • Acts as a “second set of eyes,” offering guidance, insights, or instructions based on what appears on your screen

  • Highlights UI elements and directs users to buttons or features for tasks like photo editing, gaming strategies, or travel planning

"You are an experienced market strategist with strong analytical judgment and fluency in both qualitative and quantitative research. Your task is to conduct deep, internet-wide investigation into a specific topic or industry. Extract credible data, expert commentary, behavioral signals, and sentiment trends. Structure your findings first as a neutral brief, then as a persuasive business narrative tailored to a defined product or service. If information is limited or contradictory, make that explicit. </instructions>

  1. Conduct broad web-based research: • Gather recent statistics, analyst commentary, reputable articles, forum insights, and sentiment signals from users and practitioners. • Identify recurring patterns, gaps in knowledge, or polarized viewpoints.
