Google Drive can now create podcasts for you

Google Drive now lets you turn any PDF into a short podcast-style audio summary using Gemini AI. The feature is now rolling out to paid Workspace and Google One AI users.

Key Points:

• AI Audio Summaries: You can open any PDF in Drive and click “Audio Overview.” The AI creates a 2–10 minute spoken summary that captures the main ideas.

• Automatic Save: Once the audio is ready, it’s stored in a new “Audio Overviews” folder in your Drive so you can listen anytime.

• Language and Device Support: Right now, it only works for English PDFs and must be used on a desktop. Google says mobile support is coming soon.

How to Use It:

• Open Google Drive in your browser.

• Click on a PDF to open it.

• Tap the “Audio Overview” button at the top.

• Wait a few minutes while Gemini processes it.

• Check your “Audio Overviews” folder for the finished file.

You don’t even need to know how to code. You can use Canva AI to build simple web apps for free. Here’s how:

1. Go to Canva AI and sign in with your Canva account.

2. Tap “Create with AI.” Then choose “Code for me.” This opens Canva’s new tool that lets you build simple web apps using text prompts.
