OpenAI has launched GPT-5, the newest and most powerful version of its AI model. It is now the default in ChatGPT for Free, Plus, Pro, and Team users, with Enterprise and Education access coming soon.
Key Points:
Better Performance: GPT-5 is faster, more accurate, and better at reasoning, writing, and coding. It can handle large tasks, solve complex problems, and keep track of longer conversations with up to 256,000 tokens.
Smarter Task Handling: The system can switch between different versions of the model standard, mini, pro, or reasoning, depending on the task. You can also ask it to “think hard” for more in-depth answers.

Elon Musk says X plans to introduce ads in Grok’s responses

X, the company formerly known as Twitter, will soon begin adding paid ads directly into responses from its AI chatbot, Grok. Elon Musk says this will help cover the high operating costs of running advanced AI systems.
Details:
Ads in Chatbot Answers: When users ask Grok a question, it will not only provide an AI-generated answer but may also display sponsored suggestions related to the topic.
Reason for the Change: Musk explained that Grok requires powerful and costly GPUs to operate at scale. Adding ads is a way to make the chatbot financially sustainable without raising prices for users.
Advertiser Tools: Businesses will have a simple process to upload ads to Grok’s system. X will require all ads to meet minimum quality standards, avoiding anything visually unpleasant or poorly designed.
